I'm Just Wild About Harry song (instrumental version). 78 RPM vertical cut photograph. Noise removed. Some equalization and compression to adjust for "tinny" sound. Ambience recorded at a wine tasting evening, around 15 people to begin with, increasing to about 20 in total towards the end. Recorded using a single akg c451, run through an sqn 4s mini, into a tascam dr680d. Sorry it's not nice and stereo, but it was just recorded after an interview to give us something to work with in post. Might be panned hard left, too. Uploaded raw, thought it might be useful for someone!.

A gas water heater in a bathroom. Recorded with a sound devices 302, olympus ls100 and sennheiser mkh50 microphone, flat.

This is quite a generic exterior atmos. You can occasionally hear crockery and chat (it's a the outside area of a quiet cafe) and a fountain faintly in the background and other than that, general suburban city noise.

Walking at night on wild.

Wildest/ western acoustic guitar soundtrack. I thought it sounded as a sounded for a wild west/western film. Akkoords played are em, am, e and g on an acoustic guitar. Capo is on the 4th.

Recorded on a home made hydrophone in inish oirr harbour. Most of the original recording is below the limit of normal hearing. The sound is translated up in frequency to the normal hearing range.

Wild scream.

Sound description: hundreds of crows squawking on a breezy afternoon. In nature you have a "gaggle" of geese or a "pod" of whales, but a "flock" of birds, if they happen to be crows is actually called "a murder of crows". An appropriate name if you happen to be standing underneath hundreds of them in the trees. They emit a murderous ;) squawk and screech for hours. This was a digital audio recording, done at 48 mhz at a group of trees a mile from a country freeway. You can still hear the ambient sounds of the distant cars.

When i first got my olympus ws-310m, i showed it to my little brother who is 18. I hit record and handed it to him. He looked at it for a second and when i told him it was recording, he made this sound. I used my olympus ws-310m for this recording.

Recording a book of where the wild things are.

A recording in connemara, co. Galway of the atlantic ocean's gentle waves on a sandy beach on a november morning.

This is a variation on a guttural growl i made to depict some giant bears in power armour. I recorded myself with a zoom h1 and then fiddled with pitch shifts etc to get to this big cat noise (well, that was what i was aiming for).

Punched a cardboard box.

A solitary wolf howls in the cooper creek drainage, wrangell - st. Elias national park. The creek, itself, is an aufeis-filled reverberate acoustic environment.

Chase.

This is the sound of two crickets giving a concert in a secluded area. There is also the sound of a large truck operating to your left. Loopable, as far as i know.
